We have been here in Lanzarote now for 2 months (with a quick side trip back to Guernsey for JP to break his jaw windsurfing and get it bolted back together again and to meet our newborn nephew, Stanley).  Finally JP is healed and Escapade is loaded with food and we are ready to go. The forecast looks perfect for the next leg of our journey from Lanzarote to the archipelago of Cape Verde.  We will set sail tomorrow morning (14th December)

A journey of 1000 miles ahead of us. This time it is just the two of us on board. No crew so less sleep but we are so happy to be here and looking forward to everything we will see and experience out on the ocean together.
